Forever Facial Products

By 2:27 PM

When I came back to Canada, my mom informed me that she had ordered a huge pack of health and beauty products to try out from Forever's Aloe collection. The pack included a variety of vitamins and dietary supplements, facial prodcuts, skin products in general, bath products, even aloe products to drink to improve your immune system. I've yet to try and review them all, but here are two that I've gotten pretty nice results from:

ALoe Vera Gelly: ★★★★☆
This product was amazing! It's supposed to be used to cuts, scars, and blemishes. Funny story that comes with this review, actually. I was taking photos by the riverside, and decided to climb up by a 'cliff' to get a better shot of the flags blowing over the water. Being over-excited, I didn't see the street sign above me and rammed my face into the edge of a speed limit sign. I had just missed my eyeball too! But I used this aloe gelly right after it started to bruise a bit. Immediately I had a tingly feeling in the area, it even stung a bit. For the next two days, the area became a rather dark scar. But on just the third day, it peeled off! I also used it on a burnt finger and it was immediately heeled. This one works miracles, people. Works on burns and scars... but doesn't do much for pimples. Would be great if it did though, that's why it's missing one star.

Marine Facial Mask: ★★☆☆☆

Honestly, this product wasn't anything much. It comes in an extremely stiff cream that takes all your energy level to squeeze out and doesn't go quite evenly on the face. When applying, it felt tingly, but after following the directions (leaving on for 15 minutes and rinsing off with warm water a wet towel), I didn't see anything results with my facial skin. Maybe you need to use the product continuously to see any results, but because of the inefficient packaging, I'm not jumping up and down about trying it again.

Please remember, everyone is different, and these are only reviews for what works or does not work for me. Be alert for any allergies you might have before buying anything you might want here, and get to know how your own body reacts to different products. Don't take my word 100%.

And, there are a couple products that are really good that are waiting to be reviewed by Jiji-sama the kitty. If anyone is interested in purchasing any products, please contact Lily Lou at 519-966-3129
